Early on Sunday (February 21), the mint green Victorian house was loaded onto a flatbed truck and moved from its lot on Franklin Street to its new home, several streets away on Fulton Street. Spectators turned out to cheer and take pictures as the 5,000 square foot (465 square meters) house began its journey to its new location. | A huge thank-you to to the super talented Michael Andrews for giving me permission to use his beautiful artwork for this Victorian ambience. Everyone go have a look at his ArtStation here: (so June 20, 1837 – January 22, 1901). In it you'll hear calming rain sounds, horses clopping by, people walking in gravel, crows cawing, and some relaxing nighttime sounds. I loved making this ambience because I love history (particularly the Victorian era, the Edwardian era and the 20s!), and so it was nice to imagine what it might've sounded like back then. I started reading your Victorian Legacy in its infancy--and mine, as I was in middle school at the time. It helped me reconcile my passions for 19th century literature, gaming, and (social class) spreadsheets. I just finished my master's and start my PhD in History the fall, and I wanted to thank you for playing such a big role in helping me find meaning and direction out of what seemed, at the time, like escapism passion projects.
