Vermeer Paintbrush Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact's 1.2 Update is now live, and players are currently busy exploring the newly-added Dragonspine region. As fans make their way across this snowy area, they will inevitably encounter a Statute of the Seven that is blocked by a large piece of ice. Indeed, fans that wish to interact with the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven in Genshin Impact will need to clear out this frozen mass, and this guide will detail exactly how that is done.
To put things simply, Genshin Impact players that are looking to unblock the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven must first pickup a Scarlet Quartz, and there is one located very near to the tower. More specifically, fans that are facing the frozen column should turn around and head back to the circular chasm that is just across the narrow pathway. On the far side of this hole, players will see a red crystal, and they should attack it until it breaks and releases a Scarlet Quartz.

Upon collecting this Quartz, fans should quickly return to the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven and begin to attack the ice in front of it. While this approach would not have proven effective prior to picking up the Scarlet Quartz, the temporary buff that the mineral provides will allow players to make short work of the block. From there, fans will be free to approach the Statue and interact with it to more fully reveal the Dragonspine area in Genshin Impact.
For those players that may be having some trouble reaching this new Statue of the Seven, due to Dragonspine's extreme temperatures, it is worth mentioning that there are a number of ways to combat Sheer Cold. For example, certain food in Genshin Impact, such as Goulash, will decrease the rate at which Sheer Cold is accumulated, and fans that are looking to explore the area should make sure to have some of these items on hand. Picking up Scarlet Quartz will also reduce the effects of the temperature, making them another good way to fight against the cold.
Furthermore, Fire Seelies and warp points can provide a temporary reprieve from Sheer Cold, and fans should thus be on the lookout for them. While it is certainly not necessary to stop at every Seelie or warp point, having a good sense of where they are located will allow players to explore this new area in Genshin Impact more easily.
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
